Please join us Friday, September 27 at 5:30 pm for the dedication of our beautiful new sukkah. We want to thank Elizabeth and Justin James and their family for caring so much about our community and our traditions. Our new sukkah is a great upgrade from our old one and we are so thankful to have members who stepped forward to lend their expertise and support in accomplishing this. Please come and honor them with us.
Come and join us for the 2nd annual Sukkot celebration on October 16th at 11:00am for the “Young At Heart” After blessings in the sukkah we will go into the social hall for lunch, music, and to schmooze. For our program this year we are going down memory lane. Please bring the youngest picture of yourself. Don’t put your name on it, we will guess who it is. Still going down memory lane we will play name that tune from the 30s, 40s and 50s. As usual with the Caring Committee there is no change for our programs. If you would like to make a donation to help us out please feel free to do so. Mark your check Caring Committee. Please RSVP to Shelly Pozin at 813-837-9892.

Miriam Rothman almost forgot her purse, so she went back up to her bedroom to get it when she noticed her husband Moishe standing on the bathroom scale, sucking in his stomach. "I don't think that's going to help," said Miriam. "Sure, it does," Moishe replied. "It's the only way I can see the numbers."
Members may sponsor a kiddush in honor or memory of a friend or loved one, to celebrate a simcha, an anniversary, or a milestone, or for virtually any reason at all.
All meals served at synagogue, of course, are strictly kosher.
