Sisterhood

One of Sisterhood's core functions is to support our synagogue, and we're taking that mission to heart.  We've started the New Year right with a good dose of tzedakah, contributing thousands of dollars in hard-earned Sisterhood funds to Rodeph Sholom for the synagogue's financial needs.  Education is also a sisterhood priority, which is why Sisterhood recently replaced the Sisterhood computer in the office. Sisterhood continues its giving throughout the year, with all kinds of mitzvot that reach into the community as well including a mission supporting Feeding America Tampa Bay.

Here are just a few examples of how we are lending a financial hand to do our part for Rodeph Sholom:

• Preparing and sponsoring a Shabbat Kiddush Lunch every other month
• Continuing our Youth Scholarship Program
• Providing youth snacks for the synagogue's Hebrew and Sunday School students
• Sponsorship of an "Aged to Perfection" event

Funding these and many more mitzvot is possible only through the generosity and diligence of our Sisterhood members.  That's why we're redoubling our efforts for this year's annual membership drive.  We have a leadership board full of passionate, talented women.  Now we need YOU.  Come join us, and help Sisterhood work wonders!  To sign up to be a part of Sisterhood click here.
