Our Congregation

We are taking the unusual step of communicating during Rosh Hashanah out of respect for the safety of our community.

At the time we are writing this, our Synagogue building and many of our members are in a Mandatory Evacuation Zone as Hurricane Ian approaches. We anticipate that by Tuesday most of our members will be impacted by evacuation orders.  Additionally, we have been in touch with local government and our security services, and we potentially cannot provide for the safety of anyone gathering at our building.

We are attempting to balance our responsibility to our Jewish traditions and our civic responsibility by making the following adjustments to our activities:

Wednesday, September 28
Morning minyan will be held via Zoom. Click here to join on Zoom.
Rodeph Sholom will be closed.

Thursday, September 29
Morning minyan will be held via Zoom. Click here to join on Zoom.
Young at Heart will be postponed.
Rodeph Sholom will be closed.

Friday, September 30
We anticipate holding Shabbat services at 6:30 PM at Rodeph Sholom in person, and on Zoom.  Click here to join on Zoom.

If the situation changes, we will update you via email.

Please join us in praying for the safety of all of our neighbors.
