Thank you for your interest in our congregation.  We are pleased to introduce you to our synagogue and many of the wonderful aspects of our community.

Congregation Rodeph Sholom is Tampa's premiere Conservative Jewish community.  Since our founding over a century ago in 1903, Rodeph Sholom has grown from a congregation of 20 families to a vibrant community of several hundred families based at our current home on Bayshore Boulevard. We have members from diverse backgrounds and cultures, joining together to form a strong community of individuals to pray, learn, celebrate and socialize in an egalitarian and forward-thinking Conservative congregation.

In 2013, Rabbi Josh Hearshen joined our community along with Cantor Andres Kornworcel.  They have infused every aspect of our synagogue life with inspiration, celebration and beautiful music.

In addition to our spirited prayer, Rodeph Sholom provides a variety of social and educational programs that allow members of all ages to explore and participate in various aspects of Jewish life.  The Irving Cohen Center, adjacent to our main building, offers a full-service educational facility for our religious school, youth programs and the South Tampa branch of the Jewish Community Center Preschool. From Sisterhood and Men's Club programs to family-friendly Shabbat services to daily morning minyan - there is truly something for everyone at Rodeph.
