Due to current events we are changing our method for securing the building during Shabbat. All perimeter doors will remain locked. You may either use your code to enter the lobby or there will be someone attending the door. This will remain in effect until further notice.
Express your thoughts to our fellow sisters and brothers in Pittsburgh by signing the cards in our lobby. An initiative was started by Gail and Jerry Gewirtz to provide a way for you to express your feelings to the Tree of Life * Or L'Simcha Congregation. Tables with stationery cards were setup for the community prayer vigil and will remain available in our lobby throughout this next week. The cards will then be sent to Pittsburgh so they will know their loss is our loss and we all stand together.

Memorialize your loved ones
There are many ways to honor and/or memorialize our loved ones. Among the customs in Jewish tradition to honor the memory of those we have lost is to place a yahrzeit plaque on the wall of the synagogue as a permanent tribute.
At Congregation Rodeph Sholom, a yahrzeit memorial plaque may be purchased, for both members and non-members, and affixed upon the wall of our sanctuary.
For information or to purchase your yahrzeit memorial plaque, call the synagogue office at 813-837-1911 or email atinfo@rsholom.org.
Plot space is available at the Tampa Jewish Memorial Gardens operated by Congregation Rodeph Sholom (formerly the New Rodeph Sholom Cemetery). Rodeph Sholom Members $2,250 and Non-Members $2,750 per plot. Price includes perpetual care. Interfaith family section available. Payment plans may be arranged. Please contact the synagogue office at 813-837-1911 or email at info@rsholom.org.
We send out weekly emails with event information, reminders, scheduling times, and other announcements. It's a great way to stay in touch with the community.
