SERVICES AND KIDDUSH UPDATE Due to the surge of positive COVID cases as a result of the Delta variant, we will be requiring face coverings be worn during all services held inside.
Friday evening, Saturday morning and Monday and Thursday Minyan services will continue to be held inside the building. Saturday kiddush will be held in the breezeway and L'Chaim following Minyan will be held in the sukkah.
If you arrive and do not have a face covering we are happy to provide you with one.
LAND SALE UPDATE
We are still working toward a contract with Related to sell the parking lot and Irving Cohen Center for $9.3MM. The city has let us know that there will not be a land use change and that only about 40 units will be able to be obtained even with the Irving Cohen Center being part of the construction. The current deal would give us 64 parking spots all on the first floor and there would be no connection between us and the condo owners. We would have different entrances. When, and if, we sign a contract, we will get $200K from Related and another $300K after 90 days. If you have more questions, please hop on my monthly Q and A which is the 4th Monday of every month at 5:30pm on Zoom.
Anna and Adam, a young Parisian couple with Jewish origins, are about to travel to Poland for the first time. They are just married and technically speaking this will be their honeymoon.
We are in need of fiction and/or nonfiction books for our library on Bayshore. The library on Bayshore is for secular books only. If you have any you would care to donate, please contact Jennifer in the office, 813-837-1911.
