Bracha Sapirman had 5 boys under the age of 8. One Sunday afternoon, she was playing cops and robbers with them in the back yard. One of the boys "shot" her and yelled, "Bang! You're dead." She slumped to the ground, and when she didn't get up right away, a neighbor ran over to see if she had been hurt in the fall. When the neighbor bent over, Bracha opened one eye and said, "Shhh. Don't give me away. It's the only chance I've had to rest all day."
Members may sponsor a kiddush in honor or memory of a friend or loved one, to celebrate a simcha, an anniversary, or a milestone, or for virtually any reason at all.
All meals served at synagogue, of course, are strictly kosher.
Tampa Jewish Memorial Gardens Plot space is available at the Tampa Jewish Memorial Gardens operated by Congregation Rodeph Sholom (formerly the New Rodeph Sholom Cemetery). Rodeph Sholom Members $2,750 and Non-Members $3,000 per plot. Price includes perpetual care. Interfaith family section available. Payment plans may be arranged.
