Rodeph Sholom strives to create a synagogue that reflects the wants, needs and desires of its members. In order to better support this goal we are engaging in a Congregation Survey to gather feedback from all congregation members. This is a great opportunity for you to express yourself and let your voice be heard. Soon after Passover, we will be launching the survey, and we are calling on all of you to provide us with the critical feedback we need in order to grow Rodeph Sholom. Thank you for considering this important Mitzvah.
If you are in need of a Siddur, please email the office atinfo@rsholom.org and we will put one in the mailbox for you.

ZOOM LOG IN INFORMATION COMING IN A SEPARATE EMAIL!!
Dear Friends, During these times we are all continuing our adjustment to the current situation. Since our members are doing their part to flatten the curve, Rodeph Sholom wants to provide our community different ways to reach out and connect. We are making these events available via Zoom. An on-line group meeting platform. Our new and current on-line Zoom events are listed below. Please take some time to look through the offerings and find interesting event that can be helpful and fun. You can participate with a group in your home or the group on-line or both.
Noon chat time:This is an opportunity to simply sit and talk with each other about anything that we want to talk about. It is a time to be together and will begin daily at noon aside from on shabbat. Support Group: Dr Jamie Fernandez has offered to facilitate a support group for our members to help all of us cope and deal with the adversity that we are being forced to confront at this time. We ask that everyone come with an open heart and open mind. We also ask that every person respect the privacy of the other participants. Learn to Read Torah and Learn to Lead Minyan: The Cantor will be providing the opportunity for people to learn more about our heritage and how to be an active participant and leader in our rituals. High School, Middle School and Elementary School Hang Outs: This is exactly what it sounds like. While we all want to be together… we are being forced to be apart. Once a week we can connect and check in with each other and see what is new in our lives.
Most of the offerings will be using our standard zoom meeting room address. Go to zoom.us in your browser, click on join a meeting and put in the meeting number which is 472-715-211, no password is needed. When there is a different zoom address you will find it on the grid in the next page. The rest of the offerings are pretty self-explanatory. Please let us know if you have any requests for additional offerings. If you need help with the technology we can help you as well. Please call 813-477-4030 and we will try and provide you with the technical support to join these events. B’Shalom, The Rodeph Sholom Leadership Team

Mrs. Sandelson, an eighth-grade history teacher at King David Academy could not help but notice that Moishie Silverstein was always late for class. Before class ended she went around the room asking students some questions about the day's lecture. Of course, she made sure to pick on Moishie.
"And who was it that developed the theories behind communism?" Mrs. Sandelson asked.
"I don't know," Moishe said.
"Perhaps if you came to class on time, Mr. Silverstein, you would know," said Mrs. Sandelson.
"That's not true," Moishie replied. "I never pay attention anyway!"
Members may sponsor a kiddush in honor or memory of a friend or loved one, to celebrate a simcha, an anniversary, or a milestone, or for virtually any reason at all.
