Ilya Cherkasskiy Bio

Ilya Cherkasskiy grew up in the Ukraine, USSR.  He immigrated to the USA in 1992 and moved to Florida in 2014.  He spent his career in software development as a programmer, project lead, and product owner in the chemical instrumentation industry.  He started his journey in Judaism in 2005 in Maryland and had an adult Bar Mitzvah in 2010.  He enjoys participating and leading services and daily minyans.  In his spare time he enjoys traveling with his family and children and likes learning languages in Duolingo, fixing cars, and fixing things around the house.
