Jim's Bar Mitzvah Project

INITIAL GOAL OF $20K REACHED! BAYSHORE LANDSCAPING HAS BEEN FULLY FUNDED AND HAS STARTED.  IT WILL BE COMPLETED IN MAY!

WE HAVE ADDED AN ADDITIONAL  PROJECT:
REMOVING THE OLD CEMENT STRUCTURE AND ADDING MULCH, GRASS AND SPRINKLERS AROUND THE SUKKAH

For his Bar Mitzvah project, Jim is leading an effort to beautify the landscaping of Congregation Rodeph Sholom along Bayshore Boulevard. This initiative reflects his commitment to honoring tradition while giving back to the community.  The project involves new sod, a sprinkler system, landscape/building lighting,  planting vibrant plants and hedges, trimming and planting trees, all to enhance the synagogue’s curb appeal. It not only improves the environment but also fosters pride among congregants and visitors. Jim hopes this effort inspires others to care for shared spaces and strengthen community bonds. Through this mitzvah, he demonstrates responsibility, leadership, and a dedication to preserving the beauty of his synagogue.

In lieu of gifts, please consider donating to this project on Jim’s behalf.  All donations to Rodeph Sholom are tax deductible to the extent the IRS allows.

If you have any contacts that may be able to help with sprinklers, sod or wholesale plants, please reach out to Jim at 813-546-8739 or jamesgbaker813@gmail.com so that every dollar raised can go the farthest.
