On 1/3/20 the US Military killed a high ranking Iranian General and Political leader with an air strike in Iraq. Anticipating retaliation the US moved 3,000 troops to the Middle East and went to high alert status, especially with its naval vessels in and around the Persian Gulf. On 1/7/20 Iran launched up to 15 missiles striking US military bases throughout Iraq.

The US Military anticipated and prepared for War. One of our own, US Navy Commander Isaac Harris, son of Joy and Warren Harris was serving as Executive Officer/Second in Command aboard the USS Ramage, a Destroyer then stationed in the Persian Gulf and on the front line of defense.

Commander Harris will be the first Men's Club speaker this year. He will describe the war preparation and planning on board a Destroyer anticipating imminent conflict. He will also be able to discuss his naval experiences on board multiple ships, as a Congressional Aide and Liaison and recently with the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
