Steve Haubenstock
President 2018-2020
 
 

Steve Haubenstock is a Tampa native and a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom for thirty years. He is married to Susan Haubenstock.  They have five children who grew up at Rodeph through their formative years as well as completing B'nei Mitzvahs and High School Jewish education.  Steve has served the synagogue through many committees and been on the board for six years.  He also served on the Executive Board as Vice-President of Fundraising, Financial Secretary and now President.

Marcy Baker
President-Elect

Marcy is a South Tampa native and a lifelong Rodeph member.  She is a pediatrician and Assistant Medical Director at BayCare Medical Group.  She is married to Jim Baker and her daughter, Sammy, is a freshman at Lehigh University.
 
 

Pamela Behar
Vice President - Education

Pamela has been a member of Rodeph Sholom for over a decade, and has previously been involved in youth and family programming, marketing, as well as several committees. She has served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors since 2016. Pamela and her husband Aaron have two daughters.
 
 
Laurie Chane

Laurie and her husband have been members of Rodeph Sholom for nearly twenty years. They have raised their children in the congregation and call it home. They value their membership and accept it with the responsibility to be active.
 
 

Michael Leeds
Treasurer

 
Michael has been a real estate professional since graduating from George Washington University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. He resides in Tampa with his wife Stacy, and three sons. Past community service includes the Executive Committee of the Florida Suncoast Hillels, the Tampa Federation Allocations Committee, and the Board of Directors of Corbett Preparatory School. Leeds currently is the Treasurer of Rodeph Sholom, and is a member of the Channelside Advisory Committee to the City of Tampa Community Redevelopment Agency.
 
 

Abe Marcadis
Immediate Past President 2016-2018

 
Abe is a Tampa native and lifetime member of Rodeph Sholom. He has been actively involved at Rodeph through Sunday School, Bar Mitzvah, USY, and was even married on our Bimah. Abe is a practicing plastic surgeon, has been Ritual Chairman and has served on the Board and various committees over the many years. He is also the chair of Rodeph's Legacy Endowment Fund.
 
 
Lauren Slawsky Prager
 

 
Lauren and her husband, Ariel, and two daughters are proud to call sunny Tampa Bay their adopted home.  Originally from the Philadelphia area, Lauren moved to Tampa in 2014 and her first stop was Congregation Rodeph Sholom; she and her family have been active members ever since.  In addition to her involvement with CRS, Lauren is active with AIPAC (The American Israel Public Affairs Committee) and FIBA (Florida Israel Business Accelerator).  
 
 
 
Lloyd Stern

Lloyd has been a member of Rodeph for almost 10 years and on the board for 5 years.  He and his wife own Bluestone Management which is a national commercial facility management company.  He has a very deep understanding of maintenance, repairs, and budgeting which helps him in his duties as a Rodeph board member.  He has served on several boards in the Jewish Community including TJFS and Weinberg village.  In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, New York Yankee baseball and woodworking.

Jerry is an attorney and proud member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom.  He and his wife, Gail, greatly enjoy the warmth, spirituality and friendship that the congregation offers.  He is looking forward to leading Minyan services on Wednesday mornings.
 
 
Parker Gold
Membership Committee
 
 

Parker has been employed in the financial services industry for over 17 years. He lives in Wesley Chapel and married to his wife, Jen, who he met on Rosh Hashanah at Rodeph Sholom in 2013. Parker and Jen are expecting their first child in October and look forward to raising their new child at Rodeph Sholom. He previously was Men’s Club President at Rodeph Sholom.

Stephen Kreitzer, MD
 
 
Stephen Kreitzer, MD specializes in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and sleep medicine.  He is currently Rodeph Sholom's chairman of the Ritual Committee.
 
 
Jessica Liszt
Education Committee
 
 
Jessica is a Tampa native, attorney and a lifelong member of Rodeph Sholom.  Rodeph Sholom has been a central part of Jessica's family and home to many of Jessica's family's past simchas and surely many of the future ones.  She and her husband Zach relocated to Tampa in 2009 and were married in 2010.  They have two children, Dexter (5) and Etta (3).  Dexter attends Sunday School at Rodeph Sholom.  Jessica is extremely passionate about Rodeph Sholom.  For as long as she can remember, she has found Rodeph to be spiritually meaningful.  By serving on the board, Jessica hopes to help strengthen the religious school and help build and personally encourage participation of members through ongoing social opportunities.
 
Shelly Pozin
Caring Committee

Shelly retired in 2012 after working for 35 years with the Hillsborough County School District. She has been a long-standing member of Rodeph Sholom. In the 1980's she served on the membership committee and in 2014 she was asked to co-chair the Caring Committee. She was on the Board of Tampa Jewish Services for 6 years and received the Rose Segall award for outstanding board member in 1988-89. She has been an usher at the Straz center for the Performing Arts since 2012.

Jonathan Solomon
Young Professionals & Communications Committee
 
 
Jonathan Solomon is President of Proleve, a manufacturer and distributor of premium CBD products. He is active in a range of charities, in addition to Rodeph Sholom. Mr. Solomon serves on the board of the USF Center for Entrepreneurship and Jewish National Fund. He currently resides in Tampa, FL.
 
 
Lillian M. Stark
Personnel Committee
 
 
Lillian was born in New York City and attended CCNY (BS, Biology) where she met her husband of 50 years. She went to the University of Maryland (MS, Botany) and then moved to Tampa in 1968 to attend USF (PhD, Biology & MPH in Epidemiology/Biostatistics). She was employed at the Florida Dept. of Health, Bureau of Laboratories (Virology Administrator) for 40 years. She is now retired and enjoys having more time to spend at Rodeph and in her garden.
 
 
Lauren Tobin
Finance Committee
 
 
Lauren was born and raised in West Hartford, Connecticut. She is a graduate of Syracuse University. She has one son (Charlie) whom everyone knows at Rodeph, and is currently a student at FSU. She is a consultant in the eye industry and an avid skier.
