Marcy is a South Tampa native and a lifelong Rodeph member.  She is a pediatrician and Pediatric Medical Director at BayCare Medical Group.  She is married to Jim Baker and her daughter, Sammy attends Lehigh University.

Lloyd has been a member of Rodeph for almost 10 years and on the board for 5 years.  He and his wife own Bluestone Management which is a national commercial facility management company.  He has a very deep understanding of maintenance, repairs, and budgeting which helps him in his duties as a Rodeph board member.  He has served on several boards in the Jewish Community including TJFS and Weinberg village.  In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, New York Yankee baseball, and woodworking.


Jamie Winderbaum Fernandez,  MD grew up in Rockland County, New York.  She received her undergraduate education at Emory University, graduating summa cum laude in Biology.  She attended Cornell University Medical College and completed a residency in adult psychiatry at Stanford University Medical Center.  Dr. Fernandez joined the University of South Florida (USF), Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences in 2008 and is currently an Associate Professor.  Currently, she is the Medical Director and Chief of Psychiatric Services at Memorial Hospital of Tampa where she treats psychiatric inpatients.  Dr. Fernandez' clinical interests relate to treatment resistant depression, mood disorders during pregnancy and postpartum, and neurocognitive disorders.  In addition to her role at Rodeph Sholom, Dr. Fernandez serves on the Board of Trustees for the Tampa Museum of Art and is the President of the Tampa Bay Foundation for Mental Health.


Jonathan S. Tannen is proud to be a member of the current Board of Directors of Congregation Rodeph Sholom.  Jonathan is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, where his parents remain deeply involved in synagogue life at his home synagogue of the Jacksonville Jewish Center.  Growing up, Jonathan attended Camp Ramah New England as a camper, and he later worked at Camp Ramah Darom.  Jonathan received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University ('06), where he served as President of the Hillel Student Board and Director of the Jewish Student Union.  He received his law degree from the University of Virginia ('09), where he served as President of the Jewish Law Students Association.  Jonathan is an Assistant Attorney General for Criminal Appeals with the Florida Office of the Attorney General.


Steve was born and raised in New York and attended South Shore Yeshiva on Long Island, New York.  He was commissioned as a 2Lt in the Army from Wentworth Military Academy, Lexington, MO.  He graduated with a BS from Cal State University, Long Beach, and an MSBA from Boston University.  He is a retired Colonel with 31 years active duty as a pilot in the U. S. Army.  He is now working as a Division Chief at U. S. Central Command, MacDill AFB.


Jim Baker is a South Tampa native and the Administrator at the law firm of Petitt PLLC.  Jim has been involved in many fundraisers and parties raising funds throughout his daughter's elementary, middle, and high school years.  Jim also co-chaired Rodeph's most recent Casino Night.  Jim is married to Marcy Baker and his daughter, Sammy recently graduated from Lehigh University

Steve Haubenstock is a Tampa native and a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom for thirty years.  He is married to Susan Haubenstock.  They have five children who grew up at Rodeph through their formative years as well as completing B'nei Mitzvahs and High School Jewish education.  Steve has served the synagogue through many committees and been on the board for six years.  He also served on the Executive Board as Vice President of Fundraising, Financial Secretary and is now Past President.




A member of a very active fourth-generation Rodeph Sholom family who have celebrated and observed all family life-cycle events and a former Rodeph board member and Sunday school teacher as well.  Sherry Verkauf Friedlander is an English instructor in Hillsborough County.


Stephen Kreitzer, MD specializes in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, and sleep medicine.  He is currently Rodeph Sholom's chairman of the Ritual Committee.


Sara has been a member of Congregation Rodeph Sholom since 2003.  Over the course of those years, she has served as Sisterhood Co-President and Treasurer.  She currently serves as Board President of the Hillels of the Florida Suncoast, (the umbrella organization for USF Hillel, UT Hillel, and Hillel at Eckerd College).  She enjoys many outdoor activities and has a passion for making and eating ice cream.


Stewart was born, raised, and educated in Edinburgh, Scotland.  Qualified in Architectural/Engineering Economics.  He emigrated first to Canada then answered the call to manage the design and building of TBPAC, AKA the Straz.  He has been fortunate in being a consultant on Performing and Visual Arts Centers, world-wide.  He is now answering the call to be a Building Block in the future of Rodeph Sholom and consultant on great Scotch.


Debora is a native of Tampa and grew up attending religious school and becoming a Bat Mitzvah at Rodeph Sholom.  After many years in Atlanta, Georgia, Debora was happy to have the opportunity to return to Tampa in 2017 along with her wife, Debbie, and two children, Elsa (5) and Sam (3).  Debora looks forward to contributing to the future success of Rodeph Sholom synagogue.
