Rodeph
Rugrats
Rodeph
Rugrats provides activities for our youngest members. Designed for infants
and babies under the age of two, Rugrats offers monthly programs for moms,
dads and babies including Gymboree playtime, infant massage, mommy makeovers
at Saks Fifth Avenue, developmentally appropriate play and singing Shabbat
with the cantor – just to name a few. Participation in this group
is open to both Rodeph Sholom members and those families who have not
yet affiliated.
Youth
Groups
The
goal of our youth groups is to reinforce the Jewish commitment of our
children through fun activities and camaraderie with their peers. Rodeph
Sholom offers several youth groups that bring our children together for
regular social and informal educational events: Chaverim (1st-2nd graders),
Boneem (3rd-5th graders), Kadima (6th-8th graders), and USY (9th-12th
graders). Kadima and USY are affiliated with the United Synagogue of Conservative
Judaism.
International,
regional and sub-regional activities join children from different congregations,
expanding their Jewish social network. With the assistance of Sisterhood
and other generous donors, we offer scholarships for a variety of Conservative
Movement summer programs including Camp Ramah, USY on Wheels, USY Israel/Europe
Pilgrimage and many others.
