Mazi Goldenberg | Director of Lifelong Learning

With a passion for teaching and a deep understanding of cultural heritage, Mazi Goldenberg has recently taken on a new role as the Director of Lifelong Learning at Rodeph Sholom.  This esteemed position not only showcases Mazi's expertise, but also solidifies her commitment to educational excellence within the Jewish community.  She is highly regarded for her take-charge nature and vast experience, making her an invaluable asset in this new role.

Commonly known as "Morah Mazi" among her students, Mazi has been a Jewish educator in the Tampa Bay area for nearly 30 years.  During this time she has worked at Hebrew Academy, Hillel Academy, Florida Virtual School, and Congregation Schaarei Zedek, and has taught Hebrew to hundreds of students throughout Tampa Bay.

As an Israeli native, Mazi is actively involved in the Jewish Israeli Community.  She currently serves as the chair of the JCCs and Jewish Federation's Kadima Committee and sits on the Jewish Leadership Council.  Mazi is also a past participant of the Federation's Momentum trip to Israel.  Additionally, she volunteers with the Israeli American Council and is a graduate of their Gvanim program.  With a BA from the University of Tampa and numerous teaching seminars such as Tal Am, Ulpan Or and Legacy Heritage Teacher Institutes, Mazi brings a strong educational background to the classroom.
