Babysitting
for Shabbat Morning Now Available
Babysitting for children age 7 and under is now available
at Rodeph Sholom every Saturday from 10 AM to Noon during Shabbat morning
services. There is NO cost for this service. Babysitting will be held
in the Irving Cohen Center. For more information, please contact Judy

Downtown Study Group
This study group meets on the 27th floor of the
Bank of America Building, at the law offices off Trenam
Kemker-from noon to 1 pm, on the first
Thursday of every month. Our next meeting will be TBA. Year long schedule:

Hazak
The over- 55 age group, meets monthly on Wednesdays, where they are entertained, enlightened, educated and fed. Our lunch and learn programs feature Real Food, Real Friends, Real Talk. Neighbors, friends, relatives and non-members welcome.
Taking cues from the ongoing success of USCJ’s Kadima and USY Youth Groups, Hazak offers membership in an organization that provides:
* Camaraderie & social interaction
* Intellectural stimulation
* Religious guidance and
* Fun!
Invitation to Judaism
IN THE BEGINNING” an Invitation to Judaism class, covers all the basics in a survey form: Jewish rituals and beliefs, exploring how Judaism differs from other religious systems, looking at Jewish ideas about history – including a survey of different books of Jewish religious literature. Class begins Sept. 3rd, every Wed. from 6:15pm-7:30pm with Rabbi Sack. RSVP to the office at 837-1911.
Junior Congregation
Shabbat morning services for children in 1st-5th grade is held in the Youth lounge. Children are able to select parts to lead, sing songs, play games, listen to stories, and have their own Kiddush together. The Rabbi visits and chldren will be anle to ask questions or just talk with him. At the conclusion of our service the children rejoin the main congregation for the final prayers. Parents are welcome to join the service with their children or allow them to attend independently. During the year each grade will take turns leading Junior Congregation service sas part of their classroom studies. Look for more details in the monthly Menorah. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Lunch and
Learn
This study group meets on the second Thursday
of each month at 12:15 PM. Bring a brown bag dairy lunch to the chapel
at the synagogue or buy lunch for $3. Drinks will be
provided.
Men’s
Club
For

Playtime Program
A program especially for families with children ages six and under. Enjoy theme related activities, refreshments, games and socialization. Programs are held Sunday mornings from September through June. It is a wonderful pgraom for parents as well as children to celebrate being Jewish together. Call Judy Van Der Stelt for

Rabbi's Study Group
"What Do We Believe?”– Plugging-in to our own private Judaism- Rabbi Sack’s newest study group, meets every fourth Monday night of the month at the synagogue. From September to June. 6:30-8pm. $12 per person, includes dinner. RSVP to the synagogue at 837-1911.

This exciting mommy, daddy and me program is for babies and toddlers. We meet weekly during the Fall, Winter and Spring for fun. rpojects, discussions, speakers, socialization, and playtime! Shabbat on Your Block
We invite you to Shabbat in your own neighborhood hosted by Congregation Rodeph Sholom families. This is a unique way for our congregants to meet for an informal Shabbat and potluck dinner and at the same time getting to know other families in your area. Tot Shabbat
Tot Shabbat is our terrific twice a month Shabbat morning program for young children. Our program includes songs, stories, games, puppets, arts & crafts, and prayers. The children look forward to the "Torah Parade" and our own special Torah storybook. Join us for services each
month on Saturday at 10:15 am in the Irving Cohen Center from August through June.
