DEDICATION OF HOLOCAUST TORAH
In the spring of 2009, Manny Riba helped Rodeph Sholom procure a “Holocaust Torah,” a Torah scroll that came out of Czechoslovakia after WW II. Manny wanted a permanent memorial of the Holocaust at our congregation. We received the scroll, in beautiful condition, in June. Tragically, Manny Riba died in July before we could formally dedicate the scroll, which will be dedicated in Manny’s memory and Sally’s honor. The dedication was held on Sunday, November 1.
